Fans who want to see Kratos's epic journey continue may be disappointed to hear that God of War Ragnarok probably won't get any more story content.

However, this isn't that surprising. The God of War reboot from 2018 was very popular, but it didn't have any major DLC updates.

The only thing it did have was a God of War New Game Plus mode that let players play through the story again with all the equipment and experience they gained the first time.

This isn't in God of War Ragnarok right now, but it could be added at some point.

God of War: Ragnarok will also get a lot of smaller DLC updates, but none that add story missions.

Not long after the game came out, Sony Santa Monica released the God of War Ragnarok 2.02 update patch.

Not long after the game came out, Sony Santa Monica released the God of War Ragnarok 2.02 update patch.

This patch fixed a few game crashes and other minor problems in the PS4 version and added a Polish language track for people who bought the game in Poland.

The developer has also said that the popular Photo Mode from God of War (2018) will be added to God of War Ragnarok in a future update.

At the time of this writing, the Photo Mode is not in the base game.
