Alexander recently moved past AJ Styles to move into second place for the second-longest run as world champion. The days from TNA and Impact are added to the numbers.

As of Thanksgiving, that chart shows that Alexander has 215 days left. Give yourself a pat on the back if you thought Bobby Roode's 256 days was the record.

Alexander is almost certain to beat Roode. Alexander will defend his title against Bully Ray at the Hard to Kill PPV on January 13, 2023.

Alexander beat Christian Cage to win gold at Bound For Glory, and while Alexander's family was still in the ring celebrating, Moose used the Call Your Shot trophy to attack Alexander.

On top of that, Alexander is the Impact tag champion who has held the title with Ethan Page the longest. For 380 days, the North was in charge.

If Alexander wins against Bully Ray, the record chase isn't over yet. Jeff Jarrett has something to say about it. Jeff Jarrett was the top wrestler for 305 days

He did lose the belt to Ray Gonzalez in Puerto Rico, but that change of title was overturned. Jarrett kept the job for an extra 42 days, which is no longer recognised by the government.

Alexander's dream moment was ruined when Moose quickly won the belt. Taking into account the time when the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship was the top prize in TNA.

As is often the case in TNA, nothing is as easy as it seems to be with Jarrett.  Either way, I think Alexander has a good chance of making it 347 days.
